Our brief was to design and build a kitchen garden for this house in an awkward sloping south facing site. The garden is constructed from a design using traditional materials with 1.2 metre oak raised beds, hand made bricks, a greenhouse by Hartley Botanical and fruit cage by ‘Room in the Garden’. Cropping will comprise a balanced mix of vegetable crops, salads and herbs with a selection of fruit tress and soft fruit.
